As you can see from the photo on the right, Riley's Island is a real place. The picture was taken in December 2005. Notice the crescent moon and one bright star. Actually it is not a star at all. It is really the planet Venus! It's scenes like this which make it hard to leave Riley's Island. When time permits, we will be returning to Riley's Island for some well deserved rest and relaxation.
If you think you know where to find Riley's Island, e-mail me and I will let you know if you are correct. (Hint...this picture was taken at sunset.)

UPDATE: Sorry for the extended absence. We have taken some time off to visit a few of the national parks in this GREAT country of ours. Along the way we collected a few ideas for new stores that are based on some of the wonderful people we met. If you have a short story that you would like to share with others, we would be happy to add it to our site.
